Our home town

Goderich is where Hoffmeyer Plumbing & Heating has been based since the 1960s, and the shop at 55 Kingston St is a fixture of the community. Most of our work is within a short drive of the building, which shows up in how we operate: fast callouts, plumbers and technicians who know the housing stock and the lake-country quirks, and a relationship with the town that only comes from being in one place for three generations.

The building itself has a history. Before it was our shop, 55 Kingston St was the Goderich Bottling Works in the 1950s, and before that the Royal Hotel, built in 1895. We have worked out of it through decades of Goderich growth, through the August 2011 tornado that hit the town hard, and into the Jayden's Mechanical family today.

The work in Goderich runs the full range. Older homes near the square and the harbor needing drain and sewer work, repipes, and water heater replacements; new builds and renovations needing full plumbing and HVAC rough-ins; restaurants and shops needing commercial plumbing and gas work; and homes near the lake dealing with the frozen lines and humidity that lake country brings.
